1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use UGCHost, we may collect account and contact information; Creator profile and portfolio information; Brand and business information; UGC IDs; application, contract and marketplace activity; messages and support communications; content uploads; product and shipping information; payment, payout and transaction records; tax or billing information; identity-verification documents and live verification images; social or advertising connection information; affiliate attribution; device, browser, log, IP-derived security and usage information; and cookie or preference data.
2. Why we use information
We use personal information to provide and secure accounts; operate Creator discovery and Brand hiring; process applications, contracts, deliverables and rights; facilitate payments and payouts through providers; prevent fraud; verify identity; support product shipping and reimbursements; provide messaging and customer support; calculate marketplace and affiliate activity; improve performance and usability; enforce our Terms; comply with legal obligations; and communicate important service information.
3. Legal bases where GDPR or UK GDPR applies
Depending on the purpose, processing may be necessary to perform a contract or take steps at your request before entering one, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and marketplace integrity, protect vital interests, or rely on consent where consent is the appropriate basis. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
4. Public and shared marketplace information
Creator profile information intentionally marked for public discovery may be visible to visitors and Brands. Information shared within a job, application, contract, message, deliverable, shipping or payment workflow is made available to the other party and authorized UGCHost personnel as reasonably necessary to complete or support the transaction. Do not upload information you are not authorized to share.
5. Identity and trust information
UGCHost may process identification documents, selfies, business verification information and related review data for trust, fraud prevention, payout eligibility and legal compliance. These materials are treated as restricted information and are not intended for public profile display. Access is limited to authorized processes and personnel with a legitimate need.
6. Payment information
Card and payout services may be provided by third-party payment processors. UGCHost generally receives transaction identifiers, payment status, amounts, payout status and related records rather than full payment-card credentials. Payment providers process information under their own privacy notices and legal obligations.
7. AI-assisted processing
Some UGCHost features may use AI providers for content review, drafting, matching support or other assistance. We limit data sent to what is reasonably necessary for the feature and do not treat AI output as infallible. Users should avoid placing unnecessary sensitive information in prompts or optional text fields.
8. Who we share information with
We may share information with Creators or Brands involved in your marketplace activity; payment and payout providers; hosting, storage, email, security, analytics and customer-support providers; AI providers used for enabled features; carriers and commerce providers when those integrations are used; professional advisers; authorities when legally required; and parties involved in a merger, financing, acquisition or sale subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
9. International transfers
UGCHost is designed for global collaboration, so information may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use an available lawful transfer mechanism and reasonable contractual, organizational or technical safeguards. Data-protection standards may differ between jurisdictions.
10. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing the service, maintaining transaction and accounting records, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud, handling disputes and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. Identity documents, financial records and dispute evidence may require different retention periods from ordinary profile data.

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, private storage for sensitive verification materials, encrypted or hashed values where appropriate, session protections and audit records. No system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their credentials and reporting suspected compromise promptly.

Where applicable law grants rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive-information uses, or receive equal service after exercising rights, UGCHost will honor valid requests subject to verification and legal exceptions. UGCHost does not sell personal information for money. If technologies that constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising are enabled in the future, applicable opt-out controls will be provided.

UGCHost may use rules, scoring or AI-assisted signals to rank opportunities, identify risk or support review. Where applicable law provides rights concerning solely automated decisions that produce significant effects, UGCHost will provide the required information and review options. Marketplace fit scores and verification indicators should not be treated as guarantees.
19. Data requests
You may submit a privacy or data-rights request through the Contact page by selecting the Privacy / Data Rights purpose. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, particularly where disclosure or deletion could affect account security, financial records or another person’s rights.
20. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Platform, providers or laws change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page, and additional notice will be provided where required.
